         My chosen one

She is no angel in disguise.
But holds my eyes like butterflies.
She paints no portraits of pretense
But full of mystery and suspense.

Has no dreams of moonlight schemes
Does not ride the vague of dreams.
She is to me a fragile dove.
I treat her with respect and love.

She's there as solid as can be,
With all her grace and poetry.
And I read her like an open book
As pleasing as a crystal brook.

Her presence stirs my heart within.
And moves my soul to turn and spin.
Amuses me when she is near
And keeps my head a happy clear.

Never a push, never a shove
She is my love my turtledove.
Her beauty stirs a lovers pride
With affection I cannot hide.

She waits for me each mornings glory
My beautiful Alfa Centauri .

Very funny, Sy
You know, this ending did not surprise me, besause I might get a subtle glance, but the men in my circles can open the hood of a car and stare for hours at who knows what.
But it was a great poem, Sy
Loved it

Sunny1,
Thanks for the great.

Sudhir,
Thanks for the cute.

Ethome,
It is second best.

Gem,
A gem of an answer,

Elizabeth,
As I said to ethome, it's only second best.
Love Sy
