Blessed are the powers that be... Because they brought your heart to me... And when I thought my world would end... They brought me you, my loving friend... Blessed are the powers that be... Blessed be the power of Light... For with it comes the night... To lie here wrapped in sweet embrace... The loving glow still on your face... Blessed be the power of Light... Blessed be the power of Time... It's gentle hands so true, so kind... It's given us so many days... To share our love so many ways... Blessed be the power of Time... Blessed are the powers that be... They've come to set our spirits free... Not all things do we understand... The answer lies within each man... It's there for all to see... Oh this is so well done! "Blessed be the power of light and time." Those are two wonderful gifts of life that might be taken for granted unless there are poets like you that bring them out into the world of light and time............have a great poetic muse... |
