Just to let you know, this prose really doesn't follow any poetic style/form. It is just something I wrote to express my thoughts. Also, grammar and punctuation is not going to be perfect. Thank You for looking at it, I hope you enjoy it. Age Vs. Love If only what I write could be said by my quiet mouth, for I have much to say and time is always fast, I love a woman, Sarah is Her name, that has seen time pass more than I, The time is significant only to those who care, As you should know, I care but I don't, For if I cared, my love would never mean what I would want it to if I didn't care, Age is age and nothing more could be said about it, Yet a mind can advance faster than a body, Even though I look as if I were older, My true age is always let loose by those who trully know me, What, then, can I do? Weep, cry, or die? For even God would not change my age. Away from the ages and to the personalities is where She shines, but not I, She shines brighter thatn the brightest light of God, Her beauty is known before you talk to Her, Yet talking to Her makes Her inner beauty escape and gobble a person up, just as a frog eats a fly, Her inner beauty meets and sometimes surpasses Her external beauty, She is the kindest person to me, no other person could match, I do not see Her much, but when I do, my heart must pump thrice as fast, For just seeing Her beauty makes me feel no anger from days' problems, Her voice is soft and lovely when I hear Her talk, I cannot help but listen for hours, For hearing Her makes me forget about hate, life, depression, and makes me think about love, marriage, happiness, Why then do I hide my feelings? If the thing that relieves my mental and physical pain is Her, why not stay with Her always and never leave Her sight? The question might never be answered , for if She does not know my feelings, How can I be with Her always? |

Clink77....... This just reaffirms my belief that beautiful poetry does not have to have a set style......the beauty is in the flow of the words, and this was wonderful!!! ~~~~~Live for Today~~~~~ taste every single moment |
