This was written when I was going through some confusing times. I felt that I was falling in love, although I had never met the person in question...

What is it?

When your tummy flutters as their name is announced on the telephone
When you ache because it has been over an hour since you heard from them
When you can't wait to get back to work so that you can speak to them again
When they are the last thing you think of at night, and the first thing in the morning
When you want them to share their problems with you
When you feel able to share yours with them
When you feel sad and glad for them
When you want to kiss away their tears
When the sound of their laughter cheers you up
When you want their happiness as much or more than your own
When you hurt when they hurt, cry when they cry, laugh when they laugh
When you both have a good day, or a bad one, at the same time
When you would happily part with everything you have for one kiss, or a touch of their fingertips
When you care so much it hurts
When you hear their name in the songs on the radio
When you exchange more written words in a month than most couples do in a lifetime
When you speak to them more than anyone else
When you feel able to share your innermost thoughts, things that you couldn't tell anyone else
When you know they won't judge you or criticise
When you share the same thoughts and feelings about so many things it cannot be coincidence
When you know, that although you have never touched, that were you ever to make love, it would
be exactly that....making love
When the only difference between you and other couples is the fact that you have never seen each
other in person
But then
Don't blind people fall in love?

I feel there is so much depth here..so much feeling..so many truths. I feel as though your cup runneth over.I think it's very good.

This happens more than you think! Imagine falling in love without hearing the person's voice either! Well done.

My cup certainly does runneth over when it comes to the lady who is the subject of these words. And I gues that love is blind but I am so glad that I can see!

This was written to try to explain to someone how I felt about them. It seemed to work and I am glad that you appreciate it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!¬
I struggled for  a title for a while and then in the end decided to use the final line as I thought it might get attention.
Seems to have worked.

Tracie
Thank you. I am pleased that you like it!

Actually I think I did start falling in love before we even spoke, so it can happen.

Love is like the mumps.....the older you are, the harder it hits you!
