With Intent

You speak to her with eyes of love,
Of simple treasures bound
By silken threads that join two hearts
A poetry of sounds.

The texture of her silken skin,
The velvet that unfolds,
Into the warmth, a flame is fed.
A glimmer becomes bold.

Her body teased, a trace of kiss,
arousal with intent.
The moment prints the freefall of
A heated body spent.

A softened moan, a gasp from lips
Intrigued, becomes of her
Surprised release, control now lost,
A spreading to occur.

How intimate these words can be
When thoughts slip out and trace,
The outline of your memories
That cause your heartbeat's pace.

The reigning of this language sought,
A myst of passions scent
To stir emotions kissed by words,
As always, with intent.

I think this is a great poem! And it's great for all the right reasons. You really know HOW to write poetry.

There are places inside our souls -
that have never been touched.
There are places inside our hearts -
that need to be loved this much.

Janet Marie

..sometimes in a conversation on here a phrase pops up and I hold it  within my mind 'til I am ready to use it...such was  the case with  "with intent" although we were talking about another subject...I find this year my  mind is constantly searching out the beauty in words to express my thoughts..thank you
