Hope withers like a thornseed flower. Petals color the ground in lightmade kisses. Roots' rotting memories. What did leaves know of sunlight and reflection? Small thin shadow in the soil. Smell the imperfection. Blossom finally forming fist, Torn open, curled back, with razors. Broken strength, lift the sky. Don't cry. Tears will make you bleed. Seed. |

Interesting images...I like! 'Broken strength, lift the sky' this line in particular caught my eye... The way I read this is that you are saying there is a resurgence of hope. Yet it seems like hope is a forced thing...pushed out of a survivalist necessity. Hehe - that is my interpretation anyway - I really really like this, 'squirrel. (Made me think - always good...lol)  K |
