Friends and Lovers When did it first happen When did it first start My friend becomes a lover A lover with a friendly heart It's all so new and fresh It doesn't feel quite true That all the time we were mates And now I see a new you Don't you think it's reckless I feel like such a fool We could've been doing the breastroke Instead we just paddled in the pool It's all so strange and quirky It doesn't feel quite right That instead of veiwing the picture We've only just discovered sight Can we trust this new thing Would it be a sin My friend who's now a lover Wants me to jump right in It's all a bit peculiar It doesn't seem quite sure That all the time I've known you You were really the only cure Why am I asking questions Don't I trust my heart My friend who's now a lover Tells me this is where we start It's all mad and very odd It doesn't seem quite real That ever since I've known you My heart you'd set to steal. |

Thanks MA so glad you liked it Rex, as always your praise excedes my ability, but thanks anyway. I too know a couple this happened to and yes they are still together.  |
