......but her 'phone was turned off.
While I thought about her, my fingers played on the keyboard and these words appeared.....

Caroline,
To live with you,
The answer to my dreams
And now I know I'll never want for more
I didn't know
Such happiness
Could ever be achieved
I knocked
And now you've opened up the door

From the moment that we met
I knew
We'd never be apart
The bond between us daily grows so strong
The love I feel for you
Has simply now
Possessed my heart
This love
I know
Will last
Our whole lives long

From the moment that we touched
I knew
You needed me
And then
We held each other, deep into the night
I felt
That I could never live
Unless we touched again
With you
I felt
Content
We felt
So right

So, Caroline
Although you're here beside me
Through each night
I still can feel the thrill
Of that first touch
I watch your face so softly lit
By early morning light
Then feel the joy
Of loving you
So much
