My mind races across this sea
oceans of time that cannot consume me
for I have heart and wisdom
enough to go around
and my love for thee
may I fly, never to touch ground.

This ocean that comes
attempts to seperate our souls
yet simple things
keep us in control,
the slight movement of fingers
across your breast,
or the sound of your breathing
as you so calmly rest.

Brings forth our ecstasy
that shall not be moved
and brings me there
closer to you.

oohh Michael...
I LOVE this poem ...
its beauty lies in its gentle wording and grace of rhyme ...
its perfect
lovely in its sincerity and longing

There are places inside our souls -
that have never been touched.
There are places inside our hearts -
that need to be loved this much.
