Thank You For Being My Strength Seems never is there time enough To thank the ones I love; For being with me; by my side Through times that have been rough. For times that I reflect upon This roller coaster ride; There have been many shoulders I have leaned on over time. And though I've had some twists and turns Some ups and downs at best; Just knowing that you're there for me Has lessened all this stress. You may not have a magic wand To banish every fear; But always through your love and care You wipe away a tear. For on my own, I'm only one Whose logic sometimes strays; But with your help, I find that I Find focus through the days. Your shoulder gives stability; Your ear a clearer tone; For on the days I need some help You carry me along. For with your gentle guidance And your love and caring ways; Each day I find that I become Much stronger through this haze. I know that I can't always be An island to myself; And knowing that you're always there Gives peace, and strength, and warmth. So if I haven't thanked you for The times that you've been there; Please know that in my heart and soul ... I know that I can't always be An island to myself; And knowing that you're always there Gives peace, and strength, and warmth. ------------ just perfect Kit and right back at ya... you ALWAYS reply with such enthusiasim and grace... so I thank you as well... beautiful sentimental poem later-grace-gator  jm There are places inside our souls - that have never been touched.
