~To Be Your Everything~

Tell me now what you need ...
I want to be the step with which you lead.
I want to be the air that you breathe,
the first and last thought you conceive.
~I want to be your Intensity~

Let me be the wind that carries your sails,
I'll be your memory when it fails.
I want to be the sunshine that tans your face,
your quiet comfort ... your saving grace.
~I want to be your Sanctuary~

I want to be your dreams ... your inspiration,
your poetic breath ... your heart's fascination.
To be your reasons ... your words ...  your rhyme ...
your last chapter and verse ... your test of time.
~I want to be your Poetry~

I want to be the reflection in your eyes ...
the moment of contentment in your sigh.
Let me be the secret that you keep ...
the tears of joy and pleasure that you weep.
~I want to be your Serenity~

I want to be your soul's need and desire ...
be your heat ... your passion's fire.
I'll be your ache from so deep with in ...
be your temptation ... your sweetest sin.
~I want to be your Sensuality~

I want to be the taste upon your lips ...
the teasing caresses from your fingertips.
Let me be your slow burn ... your body's need and urge,
be that moment of ecstasy when passions rise and surge.
~I want to be your Sexuality~

To be the moment your heart feels my presence,
your honesty and depth ... your innocence and essence.
Let me be all your promises ever made ...
the lessons learned that you'll never trade.
~I want to be your Integrity~

To be the candles that you wish upon,
the sunrise shadows of each new day's dawn.
Your stars, your moon, your sun and sky ...
I'll be your faith and anticipation up on high.
~I want to be your Spirituality~

I'll be that moment of fate when time stands still ...
when your futures discovered ... and my love becomes your until.
Be the moon that pulls your tides ... your endless beaches of sand,
when you touch eternity and hold both time and my heart in your hand.
~I want to be your Destiny~

Let me be your touch, your kiss, your gentle embrace ...
love's enduring commitment that time cant erase.
I'll be your spirit ... your heart ... and soul ...
I'll be the gift that completes and makes you whole.
~I want to be your Everything~
~ I just want to be your Everything~

Janet Marie

Of all the things you may want you be there is one thing that I know you are. That is poetry. You are poetry and I am so glad that you muse has returned and back twice as strong, twice as beautiful and twice as wonderful.

I do declare ...
seems that muse
went everywhere.
Look at the souvenirs
she brought to lay

in soft array.

Lovely, indeed.

Janet I just don't know what to say....this poem is such an expression straight from the heart and is coated with beauty from the soul's inner chambers.
I found it to be so heart warming and beautiful and I'm so glad there will always be poets like you that can let their hair down all around and share these forums of insatiable kenning.

Hey Janet,
My muse is here cribbing and pâcing around... He seems to be missing your muse...

Anyway, I will be enforcing strict discipline with my muse... lest he thinks of running off with your muse again...

okay, sudhir... cut the crap... stop ranting and get to the poem...

WOW, what a BRILLIANT (reserved word for Janet) poem... delectably written... you want to be all that... WOW

straight from the heart, a resounding poem indeed!

regards,
sudhir.

P.S brian, you are perhaps incorrect.. her muse has come back at least 3 times stronger...

Janet Marie,
Your writing is superb here, and the poem as a whole is exqisite. You carried the theme all the way through and what a beautiful theme it was.
Now, about your comments to my other poem, the one I think is terrible, I would never doubt your comments dear, but your second reply did make me laugh. You are so adorable and sweet, you just give me a lot of joy.
THanks

Here i am 33rd on the page reading aloud in my mind a flowers page i cannot fulfil the dreams i read now or the place i have been in your words as they grow.

Perhaps this is an appropriate poem for what i want to be be is part of your muse.  A part of that fire i see in your words.  I did not mean what you heard you have, are and always will be what keeps me at passions my only fan.  With Janet Marie reading my words who could ask for more.

I have never read a better poem than i am replying to it is so ..... Powerful the emotions are vivid and shine with intensity unparrelleled.  A single message remains you are and always will be part of my muse your poems inspire me in all things never forget the power you hold.  My friend Janet is the power i see in passions

Well Janet, look what I missed while on vacation. Glad I read it. You sure write beautifully when you put your heart into it.
This poem affected me in many ways, I think it writes out personally to all of us and our desire to be enslaved by love and have them enslaved. Bravo Brown Eyes....

heavens to Betsy, girl. when you write a poem, you make the earth move!
this was fantastic. i've been having some gal pal touble of late. and i've only written these half-poems. it's like the inspiration just quits.
but you, as always have captured me without telling me!
i think my fav part of this poem is that after every beautiful stanza, you find a way to take the verbal paintings of each and stuff them into a single word. (the spirituality and sexuality were my fav's. and the integrity fits wonderfully!)
quite a piece o' work you got here m'lady.
my hat is once again off. (maybe i should just learn to sit on it while you're around...)
and like i said before:
i absolutely love you when you write!
