In the before, love was a shadow. A ghost in the corner of my eye Like a forgotten memory haunting me with its presence. Pain, like a splinter driven deep in my heart A constant companion through the lonely nights. Then you came, like the dawn, stealing across my heart. Easing the ache with your tender words Telling me of your love, your desire Making me believe again, making me feel That you can conquer the ghost of before. |

This is really cool the way you express love and I could feel the calmness in it. I have another ghost myself and it is not a calm one, but it will be conquered. |
