Senselessly Blind

Throw the nurtured grass
toward tornadic wind
our long lost ancestor's
wallowed and sinned.
Now sunlight's shadowy
silhouette of me
cries the tears created
by being carefree.

I saw the destructive
winds of time appear
dare my mind take heed
and yield to fear.
Way too senselessly blind
to forge ahead
now this empty mind
looks on in dread.

Left to settle losing debts
of inner turmoil
desiring to just be
buried within soil.
Your breath once life
to this soul
now it's bitter
and black as coal.

LD this poem leaves me stunned sort of words, especially the last few lines. Very powerful and the pain marks every line. I hope everything is ok.   a wonderfully  written poem.
