In the space between moments

0 posted 2000-07-14 04:56 PM

Perpetual twinkle of the stars
Erasing blood moon's pale scars
Sending threads of pearled thought
After dreams ne'er caught.

Time held in crystal bonds
Somewhere 'neath the glittering ponds
Allowing phantoms from my soul
To among the sleeping daisies grow.

Ethereal being lights the dark
Weeping, heart barren, stark
'Till from the shadows I emerge
Letting my endless love surge.

Our silhouettes now graced in gold
Flying with memories of old
Angel of light, mortal of earth
Letting our love be rebirthed.

The perpetual twinkle of the sky
Knows what's true will never die
For two hearts are bound forever
Whether apart or together.

Krista, once again, I stand in awe of your talent!  I absolutely love this poem, I have re-read it several times, it just flows of the tongue so beautifully.  Shakespeares got nothin' on you, girl!

Take care,

Ah, another beauty of a poem Krista! Your talent is superb... I love that web of imagery you weave.. "Crystal bonds" and "silhouettes now graced in gold," ahh.. I love it!

Hmm. and SilkDragon on that list of Minnesotans.. maybe we should bottle our water and sell it?

Perpetual magic, Krista.  You're writing always flows so softly on the invisible line between emotion and grace... Such is pure beauty to the reader.  Life is grand, is it not?  So happy to see you writing of "love and lovely things" these days...
