Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2000-07-14 02:52 AM

My heart has two sides,
One keeps secrets,
The other confides,

My heart has two sides,
One loves one,
The other hides,

My heart has two sides,
One holds memories,
The other in disguise,

My heart has two sides,
One of truth,
One of lies,

My heart has two sides,
One is narrow,
The other wide,

Into my heart,
You will see,
Two loves inside of me,

Which one will it be?
Heart of stone?
Heart of glass?

Which love will last?
Can love forget the past?
Or  does fate decide?

Half a heart,
Cannot be true love ,
I must decide,

No Longer will my feelings hide,

For my heart has two sides.

This is truely beautiful and so very true.  It is something that must be faced and can take an eternity of time sometimes before that can freely be answered.  Loved it. Nice to see one of yours posted again.

Well, we all live dual lives... one-half for self and the other for the world, and at certain key times, we have to decide which half to favour... these moments are the most crooked....

I would often go your way... adn no longer hide...

lovely poem... adn as you can see thought-provoking indeed...

regards to you Romantic Heart,
Sudhir

RH,

We all have two sides to our hearts.  Just have to decide which to be true to.  I am sure you will make the right decision my friend.  Wonderful writing.

This reminds me of a heard that can't decide. Maybe neither side is right. Look to the ocean dear heart, as D.H. Lawrence said the ocean contains the hottest blood of all. Did I say I decend from the ocean....

great poem, I loved it.

Parker.

Logging on by the ocean these days. So I thought I'd tease, is it working.
