A Kinder Place To Fall I can't remember and I can't even recall A time I've ever felt a more tender moment at all Than when I take your face along when I dream There's nothing like the night to bring you closer to me... You have there in your hands the surest way together So, I hold true that feeling will last forever And, when nature is the way I find freedom within Then I see and I feel you with each breath I'm given... It's in your heart that I have learned to really believe That this moment in life was so meant to be And, I surely can't tell you that I've never been loved at all But, have I told you, My Friend, you're my kinder place to fall... I have seen a heartache one can hold a million times or two And, all the things I've asked God for he seemed to answer them with you Now, I can't surely tell you I have never loved at all But, I know the way to a greater days, you're my kinder place to fall... It seems I can find so many words when I close my eyes to dream But, each time I find my way to you, I find it hard to leave It's in your strength that I can stand for a moment on my own But, Friend, with you, I can take the fall, when nighttime finds me home... Now, I know sometimes even the strongest can cry, but I'd never do that to you I know what it's like to wake in the night, to wonder what you've just been through My friend, I am not him and I am not her at all I'm just one you can call on too and a kinder place to fall...
