     His Sunset

God, I come to you with a friend in mind
I must give her heart a little peace this time
I need to pray that she dreams my heart
Tonight, she must feel me even worlds apart...

I've just heard her words of an unfair game
She needs my love so her world can change
And, I've found a view she can hold at night
So, as I pray, Dear God, take me to her tonight...

I want to be there when she closes her eyes
And, I want to hold her, God, across these skies
Let me whisper the way to an awesome place
She'll then find you, God, face to face...

I will lead her upon the greenest hills i see
Because the higher we are the closer she'll be
As we are standing there, God, reach for her hand
Now carry her to your precious land...

She now must see what you so lovingly share
Show her that sunset and how much you care
Tell her how each color says something new
And, that the rows ahead are made from you...

Point out the palest blue mixed slightly with white
Tell her it stands for the times you are there by her side
And, before her tell her what the pink row shows
Tell her it stands for peace so her heart can grow...

Make sure she sees purple and all that it holds
That this color is what keeps her from the bitter cold
And, she must see the red in it's many shades
Tell her red is the love that will keep her safe...

I want the gold tones to stand far from them all
Tell her this color here will never let her fall
And, throw in some green where the sky then ends
Let it be known this stands for a lifetime friend...

God, you've shown her that a sunset is more than a view
And, you've shown her now that it comes from you
With your help I gave her your heart and your home
And, I've just given back a dream of her own...

You sure turned to the right place to ask for help... she is one lucky girl to have one such as you to want to share this with and with his help, how could you miss.

This is amazing. . .

So many colors in a sunset, and you've managed to find them all. . . and to give them to one that you care about. . . just wonderful. . .

Superb. . .

Saunni~
What a lovingly beautiful piece of your heart.

Joy beyond compare in sharing God with a friend ...
Compassion beyond compare in sharing a friend with God.
