Oh, When He Sings
~*Marge Tindal*~

There was once a Balladeer
who I chanced in life to know
He traveled the world over
performing his magic so

His words played like music
His tales brought visions I'd not seen
Never have I heard a more melodious sound
coming from this word machine

Phrases so softly spoken
He laid them gently on my heart
He sang the songs of remember
and then so quietly he did part

I've searched the world over
for the Balladeer of my memory recall
I find him here on Passion's stage
performing for us all

He might not think it's music
that he brings forth in his rhyme
But, Oh when he waxes poetic
he touches this heart of mine

He just has to be a singer
for I hear his melody
on every note he releases
from within his poetry

I admire his poetic manner
when he shares all of these things
Balladeer writes fine poetry ... but
Oh, when he sings !

*A kiss of muse for Balladeer*
I thank you for the beautiful songs
~And only because it's true~

Kaile~
Thank you.
This wonderful man has so inspired me in my time here.
The true quality of his work is amazing.
Throw in that wonderful sense of humor and
that's our Balladeer !
He is quite a talented poet.

Marge, if you heard my singing voice, you might change your mind!   This is such a wonderful thing you've done, dear friend. I think that way back in my family tree there could have actually been a balladeer because I love to do it so much. Fortunately for me, I have found a beautiful place with such wonderful people who allow me to display my little fantasies to their approval and for this I will always be grateful. I thank you again, sweet person, for your beautiful words and uplifting thoughts and - remember - the show ain't over until the old 'deer stops singing and I ain't planning on letting that happen for a long time!   < !signature-->

MyBalladeerBuddy~
Everything you write sings !
It is your phrases that puts the
'voice' to the song.
I'll be here 'listening' ...
keep singing.
Love ya'

I don't think I've seen as many tributes to anyone as I have seen for Balladeer! Does that say something, or what?   Great poem, Marge!

A big standing "O" for both of you.  Enjoyed the concert.  (lighters held high waving in the crowd; swaying to the melody)

I have the best of both worlds...

reading 'Deer's works...

hearing Gordon Lightfoot in August...

melding the two together....

Marge, if only you and Balladeers inspiration and poetry could be bottled, I think we would tap into one of the secrets of quality in life, but then again it would not be as apprecitated as it is right now.  Nice piece.
