Sitting there in the park
It slowly begins to get dark
Her mind starts to wander
There are so many things to ponder

A gentle wind blows
As her eyes slowly close
Scenes play through her mind
She's not sure what she'll find

Darkness evolves into light
The sunrise is an awesome sight
A rainbow appears in the distance
What a reward for her persistence

The scent of spring is in the air
Colorful flowers abound everywhere
Fluffy white clouds fill the sky
A beautiful butterfly floats on by

Her thoughts continue to flow
To the visions of tomorrow
They abound in her dreams
In her eyes they put a gleam

Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats

~Well, would you look at that. I get up to get a drink and *bam*,...you unleash this beautiful display of rays of hope and desire and dedication and huge positive messages.  I Do love it.  I'm sitting in that park with her...getting stronger every day. *Peace.
