I see you
and oh good morning
as the sun begins
to paint the sky
and oh without
a siren's warning
intense
to kiss the night goodbye...

a whisper of this reverie
to brush your cheek
with back of hand
remnant
of a dream so sweet
I may not ever
understand...

reality
turns my eyes gray
reality
I'm far away
secret in my smile...
scratching lines
in prison walls
each day another mile...

Just beautiful....and the sad thing is those prison walls are normally of our own making. Thank you..........

Serenity~
These thoughts are beautiful,
sad and powerfully moving.
