How do you think of big words?
Yeah you! How do you think of them?
The chance I’m thinking of big words
I would say is very slim
You want examples of big words
Yet you know I can’t think of them
How did Webster come up with big words?
Smart aleck go ask him
Little words are more my liking
Four letters and then a space
But the drawback is so often
You must shift to upper case
Ode to five hundred word essays
They once were a bane of mine
Until I realized little words
Can fill up every line
But then I had a teacher
Who said little words she would exclude!
Counting on my fingers, oh dear,
I realized I was screwed.
Hopes of an “A” now seem killable
For I must use multi-syllables
I could really use a dictionary
Although I’d hate to say it

ROTFLMAO - ah - but are you surprised?...lol.
This is good stuff!

You know...in defense of big words Walty - they are just so much FUN - but then, I remember my last essay...and how many extra fillers I inserted like: a's and the's, and oh - my favourite filler phrase: 'this can be seen for instance in' - a whole 7 extra words! I always know I am in trouble when I am frantically checking my word count after every sentence I have done...yeah, it really sucks when the essay is 2500 words and I have only done 1600 - ~shaking head~, that's when you start thinking 'why I am here? Why am I not working in a shop...lol...'

The reason Severn can't get enough words for her essays is because she has a vocabulary of big, intellectual words. I don't have that problem, because I don't know any big words. I'm glad there's at least one other person in my catagory. I was feeling pretty lonely

It's not the size that counts !
