I know you've go to go... But something in your eyes is tellin' me I've got to stay... We've said our sweet goodbyes... We both know we've done our share of talkin', anyway... I need to set you free... But I can't bear to watch you walk away and close the door... Knowing that I might not hear your footsteps, anymore... Tears are falling deep inside of me.......... When all is said and done... I will just keep hoping that you'll be back again someday... I really think you love me in a very special way And that must be the reason why you run... Yes, I understand... Long ago there was someone who had to set me free... I broke his heart, But I was young and only thought of me... When times are hard, I still can hear him say: "I have learned to love you... So, what are friends for? I'll never let you down... I'll always be around for you to run to.. If you are ever lonely... You just come knock on my door... No matter what the time of the day... Baby, what are friends for?" Hold life with an open hand....leaving it room to grow.... |

~True friends are hard to come by. And when you do find a true friend the hardest thing is letting them go...Ive done it so many times and find it harder and harder each time. I hope today though brings you happiness. Take care~ Blessed Be, Beth |
