My fear comes from my hearts desire,
Loosend those bindings and start,
Seeing nothing through my dark heart
That point, which ignites my souls fire.
To begin, I step off and wander
A single urge to scream, to look back
From the flames that ravage and attack,
Twist at me, breaking my courage forever.
Think not of me, as a trembling figure
And dance upon my soul.
Quick thoughts that give you pleasure
Bring you back as before.
And when summer breaks your solemn gloom,
Come to me and kiss, this fortress looms.

I think I could need - this in my life
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
there's a little bit of something me
In everything in you

I still can't decide if the turn came at line
9....the bard would not be displeased

very nice love Shakespeare, so lovely as the sun that takes my breath away far beyond the clouds as such a blue day as this, shall my heart ponder the words but to say as how well Shakespeare makes me portray the beauty of the river as it flows so musically such rhyme and such love in each and every word so oft we do forget. As you can tell I love this style of poetry makes your mind really create such magic, thx for sharing.

Well done Michael G ... Takes some work and imagination to put one of these to rest ... Nice style.

Hey thanks to all of you!!   I really do love to write these, ever since I studied them for my major.  They are fun, and very challenging, yet very rewarding once complete.

Thank you
Michael G
