It is so sweet
Remembering your face~
How happy you looked
Walking into my embrace.

We have been apart
So long it seems~
Living on memories
Loving in our dreams.

I wish that we were together
You and I in our bed~
Talking and loving and
Planning ahead.

You look up at the stars
I gaze up at mine too~
We dream under the same sky
But I am so many miles from you.

To hold you and kiss you
Is what I need to feel glad~
But living on memories
Makes my heart feel sad.

I can’t wait until
In ecstasy we embrace~
To hear your wonderful voice
And to see your sweet face.

Until then my darling
Remember this true~
Here with me or far away
I’ll always love you.

I know, Magnolia-there never is enough time, is there? I can relate to this so well. You did a beautiful job here.

MagnoliaBlue, a wonderful heart felt poem.
Even when loved ones are seperated, I believe a part of them remains with you. Really enjoyed reading this piece

        Sooooo wonderfully said.......

You captured love's sweet yearning, and

Sigh, I know this feeling!  Long distance relationships are very difficult and the only good thing about them is planning the next time we can be together again.

Nicely written!

Hey MB you got the distance and the hurt right down exact. I'd say a great piece of writing. Especially when the reader can get lost in the story like this one.....

take care ...ethome
