Drenching My Soul
~*Marge Tindal*~

In remembered realm of ecstasy
you fell so gently into me
Like rains upon the sun-parched ground
drenching me in soft surround

Splashing spray of moistured need
caressing every limb of me
Droplets clinging to my soul
flooding now to overflow

Rivulets gathering momentum
sliding silently down the pane
Muddles of puddles I release
pooling there in fallen pain

Lost in the memory of you
Drenched to my very soul
As returning memories cascade
I simply lose control

You never cease to amaze me with your flow of words.  THe imagery is beautiful my friend.  I can almost feel the rain on my skin . . .

Marge, I'd love to be a raindrop
Fall on you and wouldn't stop
Down your forehead, off your nose
To your chin my trail goes.
Down your neck and out of sight
Through the valley of delight
Then around the belly button
Screaming loudly "All or nuttin'!!"
Here I come! Oh, no! Wait! Wait!
The heat made me evaporate!!!

Balladeer~

If it were raining drops of you
I swear this is what I would do
I'd run to the nearest umbrella shop
shreiking "Make it stop ! Make it stop !"

Then if that didn't suffice
I'd beg the weatherman, oh so nice -
Please send me the hot, hot sun
to send this 'raindrop' on the run !

But then of course we all know
it's really windy when you blow.
No chance that you evaporated -
Your dry-spell is quite overated.

Get your meteorological ducks in a row
and chances are wherever you go
the sun will come out and really shine
and that's the end of this little rhyme !

Speaking of the belly button
I get to push yours for 'nuttin' !

MY PLEASURE !
Love ya'
