There are three kinds of days
yesterday, today, and tomorrow
with each one comes a new thought

Yesterday is just a memory
we all seem to forget
trying hard to forget the bad ones
wishing we wouldn'y forget the good ones
Which dont come often

Today I wish would just never come
It means another day of getting through
hard times and lying to myself
That one day I can just lay and rest

Tomorrow we may never see
who knows whats in store for us to be
all I can say is
I live everyday of my life
just simply trying to be me

That is the way to do it.  Nothing counts more than the minute we are currently in.
Love your pen.

SilentSoul~

'I live everyday of my life
just simply trying to be me'

And if I can't be me ...
don't want to be anybody else.

Enjoyed the read.

Certainly no one could ask for more or better than "just" you....it's enough work
to find out who that is let alone trying to
become someone else    Thank you for sharing
this!!

I think I saw a peak of optomism in here Silent Soul    This is a lovely poem, and a very thought-provoking read!  I enjoyed this from you a great deal ... keep up the wonderful thoughts and writing ... and just take it one day at a time (tomorrow is like a present just waiting to be unwrapped)

Best wishes,
/Kit

I agree with Kit. I also feel like I saw a hint of optimism here.   This is very well written and reads beautifully.  I couldn't agree more then with this verse that you've written.

Tomorrow we may never see
who knows what's in store for us to be
all I can say is
I live everyday of my life
just simply trying to be me

I really enjoyed this one.
