Come and ride away with me my Lady Let us forget the moment and enjoy What God hath placed before us this day Each other.. like a child with a new toy Our love shall grow and grow As we come together this day But when we are old and gray May our love be as strong..I pray In the twilight of our lives May our memories be strong As they were in years past Forever young in our minds may they belong Our skin my grow wrinkled and pale Our bodies not as young and free But the eyes will never dim A burning fire inside will there always be Upon my death my love Do not cry for me For I am here with you each day Remember me..for how..I loved thee |
