Emotions in motion

Glee - You are called gladness,
Can I call you merry instead,
Or do you prefer revelry better?

Pain - You are called sadness,
Can I call you misery instead,
Or do you prefer tragedy better?

Love - You are called fondness,
Can I call you affection instead,
Or do you like infatuation better?

Hate - you are called bitterness,
Can I call you disgust instead,
Or do you like detest better?

Glee - You stay for brief intervals - I await your visit
Pain - You are my usual soul-mate - friendly company
Love - You are won after a hard fight - but lost with ease,
Hate - You are elusive - yet I feel blessed with great destiny.

-----
Not my usual way of writing, my muse went on strike and I have hired a temporary assistant as a stop-gap arrangement.

Sudhir,
I must disagree with you. It is as "usual" a great poem with great feel.
The last line threw me however.

Sudhir, although this isn't your usual work, it is thought provoking and well done!  I enjoyed it greatly!

Jamie,
Thanks for reading... The last line might be the most effective line here maybe... my muse thinks so... I am blessed that I have never felt hatred thus far in my life... I bet that is a good thing.

LittleCookie,
Thanks for reading ... I like your signature line...

Sven,
Now, this temp of mine is pushing hard to be a permie... what do ya think? ... should perhaps share my time with both of them lovely muses... Thanks for reading...

Terry,
And thank you for coming by and reading...

Krista,
I am glad that you found it thought provoking and also that you enjoyed... Thanks...

Janet,
Thats a huge possibility... I just hope they don't begin to love the SUN instead...
Thanks for reading and am happy you liked the way my muse put forward these words...

regards to all,
Sudhir

I must be going insane, I am so sure I posted a reply to the poem Sudhir. It must have gotten lost on the way or else the radiation on this screen is eating away my brain. anyway, a wonderful poem. Continue to experiment. my commenst, better late than never.

Sudhir-I have read this one over and over and I agree with crowd.  Your temp serves you well.  Must be nice to have such great back-up. I especially loved the line:
Hate - You are elusive - yet I feel blessed with great destiny.

That line deserves one of it's own.  We will
be waiting.

This muse is getting real proud here.
winks at me and says "Hey sudhir, look at these people now they want to hire me as well... now I demand a raise."

eyes+2,
Thank You, your eyes see the truth so nicely...

Tracie,
am glad that I could provide some free entertainment... next time you might have to buy a ticket, my "temp" muse is getting demanding... Thanks a lot for reading...

Butterflies_dont_cry,
Thats the problem, I cannot find a single headhunter having even a temporary muse... So I am gonna hold on tight to this one for a while...   .. Thanks a lot for reading...

Mark,
You are very kind.. Thank You...

Karilea, the ever sunny,
Thank you a great deal.
I will flash a light, so you can see... 3 short ones and 1 long one, but there is a huge demand these days, be sure to be there first...

regards to all,
Sudhir
