There are some things
that need to be said
and some that shouldn't oughta.

Some words heel,
some express how you feel
and some can cut real deep.

Please grant me the wisdom
to know which words I should
give away and which ones I
should keep.

For sometimes silence says
more than any words spoken...

Yes, silence can indeed be golden rather than putting your foot in your mouth. A great poem about the choice of words spoken!
