I may not make a lasting mark
for all the world to see.
The best that I can hope for
if to just be me.

True to myself..and just knowing
I have in some small way,
put a brief smile on a down turned mouth,
smoothed a furrowed brow,
made someones burden lighter,somehow.

These little things though small
when compared to the deeds of others
are my humble way of just being me.
