(Repost after a little tweeking)

There are no deeds...
no words to say
to ease the pain
you feel today...

The wound is fresh...
and new and deep
and cuts into your flesh...

This burning searing pain you feel
is all to real,
for I too have known
it's depth...

With each new day,
as dawn returns,
with each new falling raindrop,
the edges of the wound begin to close
and as they close they encase
your loved one forever in your heart
For although right now you feel
you've lost them, they will be yours
forever..

And one bright day you will
enjoy the treasured memories
locked away for safekeeping...

Nona~
How very, very true this is ....

'one bright day you will
enjoy the treasured memories
locked away for safekeeping...'

You touched me.
