Earth 3rd Rock from the sun!!

i find it hard to concentrate
when you enter the room
your gorgeous smile
your scandanavian good looks
ones i used to crush over
in my picture books

did you catch my eye?
I am not so sure
that I want you too
could you be my cure?

I wouldn't ask for much
I just want to have fun
someone to hang out with
laughing in the sun

maybe you could be my lover
or even "just" a friend
maybe in eachother
we would never see the end

mustering my courage
I will ask you out
memorizing all the things
we could talk about

I'd take you to a place I love
in the mountain range
soaking in the hot springs
hiking through the trails
getting lost in time
getting lost in eachother

will I ever find you??
are you right before my eyes??
will I ever dare to uncover my disguise?
will I let you wrap me
tightly in your arms?
will I let you kiss me?
will it taste sweetly on my lips?
will i lay down and let you
softly touch my skin??
i want to know
when I find you
will i let you in?

Many questions you are asking, I can simpathise with that, we all have a lot to ask, I am sure you'll find him, and when you do you'll just go with the flow, I loved the poem, it was trully beutiful and very intense in it's deepness . I feel this poem goes much deeper than just what I am reading, If you are making a lot of dessisions at the moment, i hope they all go well and you find the right guy and go to that spot where you can be happy and share it's and your beuty with him .
Thanks for the great read, I enjoyed it .

Before you ask the answer is yes!, oh yes,yes,yes!!!  ahh..hmm.   Got carried away there.  This is a wonderful poem, filled with alot of questions that never seem to have an answer until the time comes.  I loved this one

very well done! the way it is written would lead one (perhaps even yourself) to believe that you are asking the questions of another. but the only one who can answer them is you. that's very cool style. i dig it a lot.
*picture mystic smoke billowing from the screen and the wizard of Oz voice speaking now* the answers lie within.  =)

hehe. good luck.

Great writing, Julie.  When the time is right, you will find him.
