Feelings come and feelings go
But memories will remain
They grip your heart, they grip your soul
With laughter, joy or pain.

Feelings last but for a moment
In our daily lives
But ones that come with memories
Last throughout our life.

Which is better? Who can tell?
Each one has its place.
Each feeling and each memory
At some point we will face.

The memories will shape our lives
All throughout the years
Our feelings, they will shape the days
And possibly our fears.

Well written, great flow, excellent message. It's true that memories and regrets make us who we are for the future, we just have to let go of the regrets and remember the good memories, not to allow our negative feelings to get in the way.
