I would just like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Jeffrey for this one! He was sweet enough to try this with me and he is amazing at this I must confess. He just flows with such grace and ease...very impressive.

-Let Me-

i'm ready to fall again..let me
i'm ready to feel my heart mend...let me
i'm ready to take that leap...let me
i'm ready to get that deep...let me

i've loved your memory for far too long
in another's arms never felt like i belonged
i think i've found true love once again
so just let me bring this torment to an end

give me a chance to live life anew
to love without carrying this burden of you
allow my heart to radiate again
the chance to again see the rainbows end

please release me from this burden i bare
give me the chance to show my new love i care
allow me to inhale my new love into my being
without your memory talking me into fleeing

i'll always love you..but this i must pursue
it's time i moved on to love without you
so give me this chance to let this love be
i'm ready to fall again...let me

A very beautiful poem, and it flowed nicely, noticed one word where "I'm loved your memory...,I've loved your memory would've been stronger, otherwise it was quite a nice piece and one which I could definately relate to.  Thank you.

Holly & Jeffrey...
You know, Holly, I told you I really loved this poem when I read it the other day... My favorite part has to be:

give me a chance to live life anew
to love without carrying this burden of you
allow my heart to radiate again
the chance to again see the rainbows end

Jeffrey...
I'm glad I've had a chance to read some of your work! Very impressive indeed,as Holly stated earlier...
Keep up the great work guys!

luv,
Cyndey
