Red is for blood
Embracing humanity
Dedicated to freedom

White is for souls
Hanging their lives
In the line of duty
Transforming opposition
Energy into peace

Blue is for heaven
Lifting our heart in
Unison
Experiencing gratefulness

Monique,
I like acrostics, and you've done well here on a good theme!   David

Excellent poem monique ... I like the format you've used in this one ... I'm sure the U.S. is happy to have you take part in their celebration ... Canadas'loss
