A single quick glance That brings me back To kisses and candle light Soft lips command. A thousand miles cannot part My soul from your spirit and your heart, Yours eye's bring me peace For my troubled mind, incomplete. Forever I would wish To sleep in your arms Of midnight masquerades When love comes close today. Of all I have, being me My soul is your to hold and keep A thousand miles , a little more That parts us, but not in time. Of a single quick glance That reminds me of you To start that journey fresh And my life renewed. |
