Tired

I'm corroding from the inside out
blacken by the flames
that you ignated that day
when you called to say your sorry
"I've slepted with another man."

"Baby, baby why?" I cried silently
Why....... I feel my throat clog
with pain.

"Hello" you speel, "are you ok?"
Silent I remain....
Am I ok?
My mind rushes, and my eye roll back
I tremble in greif
as if I had lost myself

"I'm sorry" as you start too cry
"I'm so sorry...."

How shallow those words were
as they slithered down my spin.
I should have hung up the phone
leaving you stand all alone.

The silence still haunts me
as I lay at night so tired
tired of the guilt,
tired of the pain,
too tired to ever forgive you.

It hurts to read something like this...I can't imagine what it would be like to write about this subject...I am so sorry for your pain, Daniel, and I don't blame you for not wanting to forgive.

This is a wonderful piece that shows real heart Daniel. But it could use some cleaning up in the spelling etc..perhaps an edit?
I do love the potential of it. It is a story that bears telling.
