Open your heart to my heart
Paint with the colors of love
Enter the gallery of my arms
Never to leave, always to stay

Your heart my love my canvas
Our love my love a picture
Using only the finest strokes
Reveling in the creation of our love

Holding the palette in my hands
Ever changing always evolving
A true picture of a love so grand
Revealing a love not yet known
Take my hand, help me to paint

Sheer brilliance, sheer poetry...
must be Sir Sven at work again....

so lovely...

Sir Sven posts flowers from his romantic garden,
Violets, daisies, red roses too, true blue,
Emerging fragrance from each petal, ensues,
Never-fading beauty with his words, so true...

regards,
Sudhir

Sven,

Did you steal my poetry book?  LOL.  Seriously, nice writing my friend.  Love the artistic theme a lot.

you area true artiste Sven, wonderfully painted. A picture paints a 1000 words but beautiful words can say so much more.

The word "acrostic" comes from the Greek "acros" (outermost) and "stichos" (line of poetry).  As a literary form, the basic acrostic is a poem in which the first letters of the lines, read downwards, form a word, phrase, or sentence.  In this poem, it's "Open Your Heart. . .".

There are also DOUBLE acrostics, (the first and last letters of each line) and TRIPLE acrostics (the first, last, and MIDDLE letters of each line!!).

Poe's "A Valentine" uses the first letter of his beloved's name as the first letter of the first line, the second letter of her name as the second letter of the the second line, and so on, so that her name was a diagonal from top left to bottom right.

Good!!  You're getting there!!!
