The full moon shimmers
and slivers of light
creep gracefully across
freshly watered grass

Melting ice cubes
clink merrily
bobbing freely
within a lemonade sea

A perfect summer eve finds us
nestled in wicker chairs
your fingers feathered
around mine

The night breeze refreshing
cool upon my skin
your kiss a treasure
warming my heart...

I love the time
and in between
the calm inside me
in the space
where I can breathe...

*Sighs*  Magic, but down to earth magic here...a lovely poem about such a simple summer's eve.  Beautiful work.
