A Most Sobering Thought

Gazing across the dark blue sky
seemingly a picturesque
scene, realizing though not all
is of nature, for some
of what appears as brilliant stars
worth taking notice of are
in reality man made machines.

Ages ago in much the same way
someone as I looked up
to the sky’s so breath taking and
pleasing to the soul and
saw as I the brilliance of the stars
and in amazement was
pleased with awe inspiring joy
knowing that this sight
that was transporting his every
dream to the highest
point in mans ability to see with
human imperfection
would never give way to nothing
upon the face of the earth.

Oh what this man would think of
if he were to be here and
know in mind what  the human
race has done to the very
same heavens that posses all of mans
desires, hopes and prayers
that have been uttered in earnest
and pleading motivation.
For what have we done to the one
thing that touches all of
mankind in heart, mind and soul
so very fervently.

For what man has not looked to the
stars at least once in his
life time and not given thanks or
heart felt prayer in his or
someone else's behalf.

A most sobering thought indeed.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for your kind words, I was just starring up at the stars and it was clear enough to see that alot of what looked like stars were really to me space JUNK and it is really sad to know that there will soon be more floating JUNK up there than real stars. We should in need to just look to enjoy or to pray or even share thoughts with someone be able to totally enjoy something like the stars RIGHT.

Love,  Cerenity
