Declarations of Love

You are my nights filled with stars
my winter, spring, summer and fall
all memories of you, past and present
are of nothing but perfection
and from the moment we met I fell for you

All my life I've been searching for my other half
with you, I've been so happy and never sad
I only think and dream of you; of your beautiful
personality and smile
and I never want my daydreaming and fantasies
to cease, not even for a while

These deep emotions I have, I cannot deny
it's not lust, but love I feel inside
my heart is now warm; I'm under the spell
of your charms
and I would never say or do anything that
would cause you harm

I've wanted to express my devotion for so long
but fear of rejection made me think it
would be wrong
so I will express my devotion to you
in one simple way:
Will you stay with me forever
starting from this day?

This is so beautiful, you've written this so tenderly and this is how everyone wants love to feel. A love thats not just lust but also a warm tender feeling in your heart that leaves you breathless in their presence.

Very nice poem, one that hit the nerve of love. Its nice to put into words, in a poet sence, what we feel.
