State of constant confusion!

0 posted 2000-06-26 12:08 PM

I will find you
you cannot hide
I'll take you along
for the ride

You are simply a pawn
in my master plan
Your life will never
be the same again

I can find you
in the darkest of places
I can turn cold
even the warmest embraces

You cannot hide
from the terror I bring
Get on your mark
I'm ready to spring

I'm not always sent
from somewhere above
If you haven't yet guessed
my name is......

HEARTBREAK

All my love,
Jeffrey

Paula,

This doesn't even begin to describe the pain I was feeling at the time.

Jeffrey,

Powerful and moving poem my friend.  Thanks for reposting it.  Loved it.  I am sure the pain was tremandous for you.  Happy tht you have moved on though.  Wonderful!!

Oh Jeff, I really liked this one.  Heartbreak is a scary thing because you never really know when it's coming.  And there is no preparation for it.  Though I'm sorry for the pain that inspired it, this is a wonderful piece.

Jeffrey~
I remember this one.  It holds just as much power now as it did the first time I read it.  You have a wonderful gift for poetry, my friend!

Love Ya~
