I really don't know what to say, except through your writing about Rachael, many will learn the symptoms of these horrible  ailments, and also that strength and love will get them through. Thank you too for your informative emails as well.

Susan, thanks for the bump of this - I had only yesterday sent an email to Jan wondering how her sister and Rachael were doing.  Jan has her hands full, (of love) and I guess she is busy out there spreading it around.  I had forgotten what it was her daughter had and was trying to tell someone yesterday, and now by the grace of great karma, here it is!

Wishing them all a wonderfully serene, holiday, and all of you too!

Let there be peace on earth,
and let it begin with me.

Janet Marie,
I am so pleased this popped up (thank you Susan). You, my friend, have an incredible daughter. And you have a daughter that has an incredible mother who (in this writing) has under estimated herself. I am so pleased you found the courage to write this as I found things about you and your family that mean so much to me. It occurs to me that she is now a woman. And I can't help but wonder how she is. Peace.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Susan, Sharon, Martie & Larry...thank you for the bump and for asking about Rachel.
So much has happened since I wrote this... shes 22 now.
This illness seems to run in cycles...after graduating high school, she had a couple years of remission and she was able to get her license and a job, but at times the Chronic Fatigue makes things so hard....she tries to push herself and not give into it. She is doing better now, earlier this year she had another rough spell with the Fibromyalgia and has spent the last several months recovering. Last year she worked at job that took a lot out of her physically and her legs and feet couldnt handle it... After months of rest and physical therapy--her feet and legs have healed as much as they are going to and recently she had some very good news...she got the job shes been trying to land for over a year at a local, major company ... they have awesome pay and full health benefits that start immediately and offer college tuition reimbursement and many other great perks...its a job that lets her have a chance at a long term future with a company that you can build a real career with.  She starts after the first of the year...and best of all its a "desk job" and wont be so demanding on her body as the previous retail jobs have been.
Anyway...thats a nutshell update.
Thank you so much for thinking of her...
she teaches me about strength and self empowerment everyday.

Thank you for missing me...I miss you guys too...Im still taking care of my sis after complicated surgery. Her recovery will be slow. I know I miss poetry and interaction here, but theres just not enough hours in the day since my sis got sick. As we all know, life has a funny way of redirecting our priorities for us.

I hope each of you have a wonderful holiday with your families.
Happy New Year too...

heart-hugs of the mothykind.

Way to go Rachel!  Way to go!

Merry Christmas to you all too, and here's hoping Trisha improves more and more as time goes by, and with that, I shall go pray for her (and you too lady!)

Night night all.
