On the Brink of Think

And now I find a new illusion
In this maze of mind's confusion
Always edging to the brink
Always wanting me to think

Haven't I yet reached conclusions
To these questions and dillusions?
Didn't I yet graduate the
Thinker's School of Contemplate?

Things appear that make me wonder
Then I feel the need to ponder
Not content with just assumption
Never starting with presumption

Thoughts fly with velocity
To quench my curiosity
Seeking answers logically
And sometimes philosophically

Why can't these brain waves stop and rest?
They have become an awful pest
Just when I feel like going to sleep
A question in my mind will creep

So back I go to meditate
Intuitively to postulate
And do not stop until my brain
Resolves the point I can't explain

I finally sort it out and when
I've said my very last amen
A brilliant thought pops up and then
I'm on the brink of think again

....

Liz,
you have already started a thought process...in my head...

regards, sudhir.

Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;

Elizabeth, you've described me here. There are nights when I can't sleep for all the thinking I'm doing. Great title too!

Liz--I think the brink of think is what gives your pen such ink!

Liz I know just what you mean here. Though lately I seem to ponder and drift and never make it to the amen part before I'm waking up the next morning.

Fabulous it is!
