We lie to save our faces from the eternal hell of shame
to hold heads high
and show off calm.
But inside the war never stops
the knives never cease to cut our flesh
and nobody sees the scars scorns leave.
Pride has its values but stupidity is too much to bear
and I think I've sinned

Very true, Raveberry, and stated nicely too.
