       A Giant's Asylum

Doting, scuffing along, yet driven,

conscious of no giants walking
yesteryear, well coiffed, full maned,
down great halls where fates had given
right-of-way to them, each hawking
wisdom they alone sustained;
ignorant that he'd once been foremost,
don to causes, funds begotten,
daring dream discoveries thriven;
past outrageous fate's safe doorpost,
shuffling, pjs pee-stained, forgotten

castoffs wait and reek unshriven.

i don't know what to say,
imagery, well accomplished.
brings up profound feelings of what we think is crazy and what we stage as crazy and what they make crazy.
