Silence the ungodly warning
-whispered our earthly souls,
smiling
with broken shame
and cumbersome desire.
I feel wooden
with the scent of wind
burning
wick
that candle swam.
Waiting
as drunkeness
cheecks your breath.
Feathers
lonely purr
swift, but mirthful.
The wooden birth.

"Smiling with broken shame", "the wooden birth"--such powerful phrases.

I'm grabbing my hat and coat
I'm leaving the cat a note
Quick call me a ferry boat-getting out of town!

redheart--you've got a "fan" in me---won't claim I always understand your intentions--but I love the way you lace together snippets of surreal imagery, it's like a dream...
