Endings

Speak to me no more my love,
For there's another Summer coming,
A warmer, safer solstice in the evening of our love,
Remember me no more my love,
For memories are moments,
In the patterns of our dreams,
Reflections in the pool of shared experience,
Cry for me no more my love,
For tears are a chain that binds thoughtless sensibilities,
Smile for me no more my love,
For smiles are motives for true insecurities,
Sigh for me no more my love,
For sighs are dreams undreamt, words unspoken,
And fires rekindled,
Be with me no more my love,
For we are not to be,
And you and I have been swept away on a sea of infinate solitude,
Turn your back on me my love,
For there is strength in our conviction,
And unity in our parting,
Though we wing our way across different oceans,
We are uplifted by the same gentle breeze,
We touch but arn't touching, feel but arn't feeling,
Love but are unloved,
When slumber takes your hand, we will meet on the shores of never can be,
Then someday soon, you and I will have it all and more, and we will remember...this.

Thanks J.M. This was very difficult for me to write as im not very good at the romantic,
I have the feelings but not the words if you know what i mean but maybe one day, or am i stuck on the shores of never can be.

Olias,

Wonderful writing!!  Excellent imagery you have used.  I can see it in my mind.  Parting is never easy, but some day we will find the one with which it's meant to be.

Thanks for posting L.W. Luckily this is a road we dont have to travel to often or I would be an emotional wreck.

Applause!  Olias, I said it before, I'll say it again, you need no muse at all, you are so talented and have penned a gem!  The imagery is amazing and you have made such a bittersweet subject beautiful with your words!  I can't choose a favourite line because every single line is perfection!  If you don't mind, I'm printing out a copy for myself, I love this poem!  I only hope that this does not come from experience, because I know all too well the pain that comes with this.  I now stand in awe of you

Take care,

Melissa, Thankyou, Its always a pleasure to hear from you, your kind words mean alot. Our experiences make us who we are and I would not change a thing.

Rhonda, I'm glad I could touch your heart, like you I'm new to Passions, but I have found encouragement and support here and I'm growing every day. I hope you get as much out of being here as I do.

I feel as if this were printed on canvas I could see every detail in every word.  This is one that I will not forget nor will I forget it's message.  Thank you for sharing this one.
