In days of old when ships so bold
Sailed the tumultuous seas
The Northern Star would shine
                        in nights so cold
And put their minds at ease

Great Polaris, the Northern Star
Guided their ships safely home
Shining like a diamond
                        to near and far
Making them not alone

So my love, when my heart is tossed
On life's tumultuous sea
Be my Northern Star
                        when my heart is lost
Guiding it back to thee

Sven, this is a beautiful piece.  A guiding light is what we all need at one point or another.  I loved this one, one of my favorite!

Great poem my friend.  We all need someone to look to when times are tough.  I hope your star shines brightly.

.....

Well we have something called a GPS these days, damn expensive considering that the Pole Star is for free... but GPS works swell... *grinning like a maniac here* or a sick joke...

Well, let me capture the moment...you wish a dear heart to glow when you feel lost and in that glow you want to fall in love again to further get lost....

Nice work, sven, and I am not kidding...

regards, sudhir.

Sven,
I loved this one! It shined right up
there with the stars in heaven.
Romantically perfect my friend!
Take care
Amy
P.S. I really liked the comparison
and how you weaved it together.

"Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is before you can meet again. And meeting again after a moment or a lifetime is certain for those who are friends."

"Fate exists but it can only take you so far,
Because once you're there
It's up to you to make it happen."
