" Awake Again "
One Glance
Seen within
All the hurt
All the sin
Out of Self
Scared Inside
No where to run
No where to hide
Rattled trees
Howling moon
Stars beaming
Running lost
Dont look behind
Screaming voice
No-one can hear
Silent fear
Eyes wide
Strong sense
Ears open
Hair stands
Demon seen
Heart races
Blood flows
Legs stiff
No where to stay
No where to go
Dreams ends
Awake again

Whiskey, I've never read any of your poetry before, but I'll be sure to do so in the future. To describe a nightmare in such a way it makes me think you must have written this after experiencing a harsh one. I wish you sweeter dreams in the future
